The Maldives consist of a total of 1,190 islands divided into 26 major atolls stretching 443 nautical miles north to south and 65 nautical miles east to west. With a population of only 300,000 and an aviation community of only hundreds we have one of the world's smallest and most unique aviation communities.
The country's national carrier Island Aviation, Maldivian Air Taxi owned by Kenn Borek Air and Transmaldivian Airways, all operate out of Malé International Airport.
